I have started to integrate techtoad with Facebook - i'm afraid this will only work when you visit techtoad.net, not any of the other domains - but i'm working on it! Feel free to add comments, update your status, share pages with friends and please, become a fan!

Happy Birthday Saxon! 31st January 2010

Happy 18th Birthday to Saxon from Techtoad Love you lots! xxx

I'm Not Dead 28th January 2010

No, i'm not dead - it's been ages since I posted anything on here. Truth is, i've been very busy with college work, and a bit lazy with my free time. Nothing much has happened over the last few months, Christmas and New Year were good, bought myself a new laptop (customised Dell Latitude E5400) and been cracking down on my computing project which I have finally finished and submitted for assesment!

I have just completed my General Studies exams, not too bad, but not feeling confident of a high grade! That aside, I am focusing on the EPQ project I took on towards the end of 2009, CISCO CCNA2 and Electronics Coursework. I'll be learning to drive soon too - gonna be a busy few months!

In other news, i've been working with The Jed Cast, formerly with Storm Radio - I've been to a few recording sessions and have been helping out with a few activities outside of the studio. I'll try to mirror some of the PodCasts on the site so that you can download them directly.

I'd like to thank the JedCast for including me in the recent episodes, and hope to work with you more in future.

Personal life is great, it's nice to spend a bit of time and relax with Saxon when I don't have the pressures of college on, and there is always good 'ol Jed to make college a bit more fun ;)

Business news is good - been keeping busy with some private work, and am also happy to introduce a new price scheme that you literally won't believe - more about that soon! I have moved my Linode VPS from Atlanta US, to London UK. Not really much difference, but there is a smaller latency, which I understand is better for multiple small packets, and about the same for continuous or large data transfers.

SCAN Order Update 15th November 2009

Scan did get my order out to me only one day later than quoted, but I was not refunded the postage. Thankfully, I was able to sign for my items and it did not cause too much of a problem. The NAS' are quite good, they could do with an improvement of the users and share management, and Windows has some trouble calculating used space (because SMB emulates as NTFS and the drives are formatted using EXT2) but they do the job. I was going to buy a third, but in view of some of the minor problems I have had with the Edimax NAS, I am going to look at a QNAP NAS box. Promise I will get some pictures up soon!

SCAN Order and Life Update 11th November 2009

I placed an order yesterday for 2 Edimax NAS Raid servers, total order was a few quid shy of £200, I ordered some time before 11am and paid for NEXT DAY 'GUARANTEED' DELIVERY. I got a text and email alert later at gone 10pm stating that my order had been delayed due to stock shortage. I have heard nothing for 24 hours about my order, and have filed a complaint with Scan's customer service requesting some form of compensation or refund for the postal cost. I am awaiting a response from them, and will update the site when I hear back from them.

On a less grumpy note, haven't been keeping this site up to date just recently! Sorry everyone, I'll try and give some more of my time to it. I got my AS, CISCO CCNA and NVQ certificates, will soon be doing my A2 exams and handing in coursework - I've taken on the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) for Computing at the sixth form, hopefully will keep on top of it all - seems to be going ok at the moment.

Personal life, can't complain! I am making some major modifications to my home network, will soon post some pictures on the site. A while ago I mounted two of my LCD monitors to the wall to save desk space, looks quite neat - planning on mounting my third wide screen LCD diagonally in the corner of my room - will upload pictures when i'm done.

College Results (Extended) 10th November 2009

I received my certificate for Web Design, I passed at NVQ level 3 - Very happy with that! Just waiting for my official certificates for my AS subjects.

College Results 20th August 2009

Got my results today, they were not great, but I am happy with them. I got a B grade for Computing which I am pleased with, made up of an an A for the programming and a B for the fundamentals. I got a D grade for Electronics, was hoping to do better but at least its a pass. I got a D grade for Business Studies, made up of an A grade for Planning and Financing, but a U grade (fail) for Managing. I failed Psychology totally, but its not a problem - Psychology was more of an interest than a career path. I will be continuing at the Sixth Form next year, I will be doing Computing, Electronics, General Studies, Philosophy and CISCO CCNA. I passed my CISCO CCNA 1 and hopefully have passed my Web Design NVQ. Hope everyone else got the results they wanted!

The Holiday 12th August 2009

Day 1: We arrive at the airport in Spain, got pushed out of the queue for passport control by the airport security officer. No idea why! We finally got through passport control and waited for our luggage, which seemed to all be there in tact. We spent a long time looking for our rental car, Amanda was getting much stressed and Rob was on the phone to the rental service seeking help. Mum and I just followed Rob. We finally found the car and were soon driving on our way to the villa, Rob getting used to driving a left-hand drive car on the wrong side of the road. We were getting lost and Amanda was getting stressed again. Eventually, we found the villa, nice place, 3 floors, indoor and outdoor shower, private swimming pool, marble floor, walls and stairs, decent kitchen and bathroom, two double bedrooms and a nice living area. We unpacked and got settled in. We figured we would need to get to know the local area and get some supplies, so we went out looking for shops and restaurants, after much getting lost, and Amanda getting stressed, we finally found a McDonalds, but they did not sell double cheeseburgers, so I had a big mac meal. We found a super market and bought some essentials, including drink, lots of drink! We made our way back to the villa and then had to walk in the scorching 31 degrees C for a take-away pizza and a pint of strongbow. The food was alright; we had some more drink, and then got an early night.

Day 2: Got up, had breakfast, then headed to the beach. Amanda was driving this time, so she got stressed. We passed 2 tolls on the same road, then turned around to go trough them again. We were lost. We finally found the beach, but Amanda got very stressed trying to park the car. Rob and I went for a walk to buy a hat and an ice cream, but ended up locked in someone’s private property and had to jump a very high wall to get out. We returned to the beach to meet Amanda and mum, and then soon after spotted a bar, where we both got through a few lagers. Mum bought a pizza for herself, rob and I to share. Amanda got stressed that we didn’t buy any for her, so she bought her own to share with Rob. We made our way back after a long hot day, got lost again, and Amanda got stressed again. When we got in, we quickly got changed and then went out to a really nice restaurant where there was live dinner jazz being played and an expensive but wonderful menu. We made our way back to the villa but my mobile internet had officially failed, so I had to get to bed for there was nothing else to do.

Day 3: Lazy day today, we got up late and had breakfast. Spent the morning watching various TV programs on my laptop, then headed off to the local shop to top up on some supplies, i.e. Beer, pukka-pies, pot noodles and some ingredients for dinner. We watched top gear when we got back home, played back gammon and Jenga, I lost both games so had to do the washing up. Rob cooked really nice pasta, chicken and mushroom meal, but forgot to wash the mushrooms, which we were all fine with... Except Amanda who got stressed. (Nobody died or got ill) We all went out for a swim, and were throwing goggles around playing piggy in the middle until 10pm when it got dark. We all came inside, had some drinks, sat down to watch a film, I ate a pot noodle and then went to bed.

Day 4: We decided to go to a water park today, expensive to get in, very long queue, but was an impressive place. We all went on the outdoor zigzag slides, but Rob lost his necklace and Amanda smashed her knee on a rock. I spent the rest of the day listening to my iPod while Rob read his book. We had a nice picture taken before Amanda got injured though, so that was good. We went home and decided to get a curry. I came up with a cunning scheme to exploit the free bottle of wine with every order over 20€ by sending in Amanda and Rob to order separately, their acting skills were epic and so we got 2 free bottles of wine. The evening was spent enjoying the curry which was very nice, and then drinking until we fell asleep.

Day 5: Today we went to the market and town to look for gifts and stuff. I bought some gifts for Saxon; the others bought various items for themselves. We decided to get some lunch and Rob and I pointed out a nice little cafe Amanda was not happy and caused a scene, so we had to leave. We got to the town centre where mum and Mandz broke into an argument about the time we would leave for the airport on our last day, Rob and I felt rather embarrassed by the scene they were causing and in the end, we headed off to another small cafe, the staff did not understand English and it was difficult to order. They made a few mistakes, but finally we all got our food, I had a strongbow and a cheeseburger. We made our way back to the villa and stopped off to buy a BBQ on the way back. Now, I'm writing this and the others are in the pool. We all went out for a really nice steak meal which was really good value and very nice food. We went back to the villa and were in bed shortly.

Day 6: Today was great fun, while Amanda and Mum got roasted on the beach, Rob and I went to get roasted at the pub. We started off with a few lagers and played some pool, 2 games, 1 all. We moved on to some strongbow, and I kept switching between a few brews of lager and cider. We had great food in the pub; ironically, it was called "the pub". We were there for 5 to 6 hours getting drinks in, but I must have had a few too many because in our last half hour, I spewed all over the outside of the toilet door in front of everyone, and more in the toilet itself. The bar staff made me clean up my mess, but good old Rob helped out. Mum and Mandz picked us up shortly after we had cleared my mess, they were not pleased, and Amanda got stressed about Rob using his card to buy in some lunch and more beer. I felt fine after throwing up, so was fairly soba and was able to enjoy a BBQ up on the roof. I stayed up quite late chatting to Saxon but eventually got to sleep, no hangover at all!

Day 7: went to a safari park today, watched the seals, birds and elephants perform in shows, and had a look around at the various tigers and other interesting animals. Managed to find a drink can with my initials on it, which was the highlight of my day! We headed back home and had a splash about in the pool, where I managed to push Rob in and got it on video! We also did a video of Rob trying to run across the water! We all went out for Mexican/USA food which was very nice, but I had to help finish everyone’s except Robs. Amanda didn’t seem to get stressed today, which is weird... We came home and went straight to bed.

Day 8: Last day, Amanda was getting stressed because we all wanted her to be ready on time and get packing, but she was sure we would have plenty of time and didn’t want to leave until later. It was a long day of packing, waiting around, getting through the airport etc, but we finally made it and arrived back in England at 9:45pm (UK Time), then after getting home, went to town to get a dominos pizza (Buy one get one free on Tuesdays!).

I will soon be adding photos to a new gallery, but as it is my first day back, I haven't got round to getting the photos from everyone yet, so they should be up in the next few weeks.

Spain 3rd August 2009

So I am leaving England today to go on holiday to Spain. Little concerned about the heat and possibility of catching the flu, but will try to make the best out of it, its the travelling I really enjoy. Going to miss Saxon and all my mates while i'm away! Hope everyone is having a good summer break, take care!

Update 21st July 2009

Hello World!

It's been a fairly different past few weeks for me. I regret to announce that I have grown apart from a dear friend recently, but have met many new people.

I have finally broken up from college for the holiday term, I will be off to Spain in a few weeks time, i'm not sure if I am looking forward to it, or worrying about the climate change!

It will be my birthday in just 2 days (Thursday, 23rd July), looking forward to a day out! I plan on changing my mobile network plan soon, but my number will NOT be changing.

I have recently had some private work from a friend, which has kept me busy and in good finance (Thanks Chris!)

Saxon and I have been plotting world domination and getting to know each other better, so far so good! I have had the pleasure of going out around Colchester dressed smartly as "The Master" from Doctor Who, as a request from Saxon - thankfully, and quite strangely, I already owned all of the clothes required, felt quite confident actually! We had great fun at the fair on Old Heath, despite it bucketing down with rain on the way home, still - I think it was worth it

I have plans to dye my hair electric blue once again, hoping for something a little more perminant this time though!

I am getting a little nervous about my AS results due in August, I am still defeated by the common rubicks cube (with the exception of taking it to pieces and putting it back completed).

Hope everyone is doing ok!

Kirk Saywell on Life: My Opinion 27th June 2009

I'm Kirk, I built, own and run this website. I am a college student, I live in Essex, UK and this is my thoughts on life. This is mentioned in the footnote of my website, but just a reminder before you read this, everything I say is an opinion. As a UK citizen and a member of the internet community, I have a right to freedom of expression - This is my freedom of expression, this is my opinion. I do not intend to offend any individual, organisation or culture, but please do feel free to contact me using the contact page on this website if you have any thoughts or opinions that you would like to share with me.

Life, okay so where do we begin... well lets first take a look at creation. There are many different beliefs about the creation of the world, I choose to believe science. This doesn't really matter for what I want to say, but it could affect the way you interpret it. Let's assume for the sake of this article, that people, life, plants etc already exist. When we first existed, the primary purpose of our lives was to survive as individuals, and the secondary purpose, to survive as a species. Over time, natural selection has shown us the "best" species; everything alive today has survived a long time, so it's met the purpose of life, so let's take this a little bit further.

We exist, we have survived as individuals. To survive as a specifies, talking generically, we have to reproduce. In our species, I’m fairly sure most of us know how this is done, but lets just stick to the traditional method. Humans find a partner to have a child with. Child grows up, finds a partner, makes child... etc - You get the idea.

We already know all of this, so why do I mention it? Well, for now, lets just cast that aside. The next thing I want to talk about is the way we have evolved in society, I have only been alive since 1992, so I am speaking from knowledge that has been passed to me from education and other people, the media, my parents, my peers etc. I like to think that as a world, we have learned to accept each other more for who we are, what we do, and what we think. Without being too specific, a great example of this would be how we live in a mixed race society, how homosexuality is accepted in society and of course the classic, woman’s rights.

Technology has come a long way, I happen to be rather passionate about technology, out of everything I consider myself to be any good at, technology is at the top, there isn't much else, but that's not my topic for today.

Again, you might be wondering what all this is building up to. The next thing to consider is money, lets be honest, nobody in this society can really get very far without credit of some description, those of you who believe that you don't need money to be happy, fair enough, but in my opinion - that's a load of rubbish. Money is a requirement to live; it is also a key to happiness.

This is turning in to a bit of a rant I suppose, but here's my view on the law. The law exists to help run our country, to keep human society in order, to have justice, to have freedom and, by definition, to keep people happy. Everyone knows that the law is flawed, again, that's not something I’m going to go into in detail.

Now I suppose I’m going to put some of this stuff together, but first I am just going to list a few things that I consider to either be a need, or to be something that makes me happy; please understand that just because I need it that doesn’t mean it makes me happy, and just because it makes me happy that doesn’t mean I need it.

-Money
-Food/Drink
-Shelter
-Friends
-Love
-Education
-Law/Security
-Television/Entertainment
-Occupation/Job/Hobby
-Clothing
-Medical Supplies and Medical Service
-A comfortable resting place
-Transportation
-General Supplies (Soap, Toothpaste)
-Utilities (Gas, Electricity, Water)

...Yeah, that list could go on for ages, they seem to be the things that come off the top of my head, in no particular order, but I’m sure I could think of many more! I am sure you could too.

What *really* pisses me off though, is morals. Why on earth did we agree on morals? That's a stupid question isn't it? Well not really. If you know anybody who genuinely, by definition of law and morals, has *never* done anything wrong - please give me their details because I’d love to speak to them. I honestly don't believe that a single person in the whole world who has lived up to the age of 12 can honestly say that they have *never* done anything legally or morally wrong. I could be mistaken, but I’m talking from opinion. So baring this in mind, tell me why someone who comes close to that description; no criminal record, very polite, very friendly, helpful, tries hard, doesn't go against their friends and most importantly, is as moral as anyone could be expected to be in both their home and work environments... tell me why they do no better in life than say... a person who simply doesn't care about anyone or anything?

Well, my opinion on this is simple. The world, this country, is a mess. It is run by a group of people who call themselves the government, who lie and cheat to everyone in the population, just so that they can run the country the way *THEY* want to, ultimately, so that they can survive and be happy. That's what everyone does though isn't it? We do things in order to survive and be happy. I don't blame you.

Now let’s put the pieces back together. Human existence, to survive as an individual, to find a partner, to continue human existence. To be happy, to evolve, and to have as many friends on facebook as possible. Yeah - That is the way we are going. I can tell you, as an inexperienced young teenager, still with a life ahead of me, that in this life, lying and cheating, being immoral, breaking the rules occasionally is the only way to get anywhere.

I come from a family who believe in working for their money and never asking for more than what they have. They spend most hours of the day, most days of the year, going to work doing the same boring job day after day, just to bring home money to survive, and to stay happy. The plan of course, is to save all this money for retirement so they can continue to be happy once they are too old to work.

Life - how fun does this sound! If I was trying to sell "life" to you, how interested would you be at this point? I'm being a little pessimistic I guess, maybe I should take a look on the brighter side.

As a human, we have an easy life, no more natural predators really, don't have to hunt for food, just click a few buttons on a website or drive a few miles down the road with a bit of plastic. Now we don’t have to worry about that, we have more time for fun, right? Let’s take love, happy stuff is love, until it all goes wrong and drives people to suicide. Ok, it's not always that bad, but let’s face it; love can hurt just as much as love can heal. Music, that's a great one, I love listening to music, it changes how I’m feeling about stuff, and it’s a pleasure to have the choice of so much beautiful music, something I really do enjoy. Friends, aha! Friends, the people who actually matter yeah! Friends are the people you choose to be with, not because they are family who you are subjected to be with, or colleagues from work who you have to work with, but people who you think... yeah, I like them, let’s be friends. Friends are another great quality of life, and something I believe is unique to human kind.

I'm beginning to get bored of my own article now, but what I’m trying to say here is that life is this mental thing that changes all the time, in my opinion, we don't have any set "purpose" we just live because we can, and we survive by choice, natural selection shows we are a strong species who dominate earth, and go round all day in chairs on wheels with bits of plastic as credit.

I'm just some 16 year old kid from Essex with an opinion. I just want to say really, life is what you make of it. By definition, all you have to do is exist, but what is the smegging point of existing without happiness, and where does happiness come from - well I don't bloody know! It's down to you, what makes you smile and actually feel inside like you *want* to do something.

Just recently actually, I've been spending more time with some friends and I think to myself, yeah, I like this. I sit at home and watch my favourite TV shows, and think, yeah, I like this. I eat my dinner with my family, thinking, could you pass me the ketchup? But inside also thinking, yeah, I like this. Here's the bottom line, you've probably got 60 to 80 years to enjoy life, the first 18 years are usually spent in education, the last 20 years are usually spent at home or in the garden, you must spend about a third of what's left sleeping, so 13 years of actually doing something with your life - are you going to work for the sake of existing? Are you going to find a job that you ENJOY doing, maybe working with technology, creating music, teaching, fixing radiators, racing cars - or maybe you're just going to sit around and do nothing until the day you die.

Well personally, I choose to do a job I will enjoy, and if there is anything I have learnt, it’s that if you want to make money doing something you enjoy, you've got to lie, you've got to cheat, you've got to be immoral without necessarily breaking the law.

I'm happy with who I am, there is a lot I have to wish for, to dream about, and to desire (however you want to say it) and part of life is going out and fore filling those desires. We can't be bothered to go and hunt prey, so we use "credit" to pay some bloke from down the road to do it for us. How about taking your skill and doing something with it.

I'm not religious. So, see you some time between now and year 2080, if not, I probably won't ever see you.
That's all, thanks for reading, you've been great.

Happy 17th Birthday Ki-Chi-Mi! 12th June 2009

Happy 17th birthday to Lawrence (Ki-Chi-Mi) from Techtoad!

Random Generosity 10th June 2009

Random Generosity, so what the hell am I on about? Well, for those of you who don't know what generosity is really about, you can have a jolly good read of Wikipedia by following this link.

This week, and next, I shall be far more generous than I usually am, and more generous than you would expect any person to be - but not to everyone, and not to anyone specific. I have no pre-defined 'list' of people I will be generous to, I also will not limit this to just my friends and family. This will apply to any one, two, three... could be ten, twenty... hell, it could be a million people, but it could be any time this week or next.

I have already been extremerly generous to someone in college who I thought deserved a treat, but it doesn't end there! Generosity is about giving without expecting reward, and in my case, this could be a monetry value, material value, emotional value or just pure kindness.

Please do not feel bad for accepting my offers, but dont expect them either - this act of generosity is not chosen by me, but by my mood. If I feel good and you happen to be about, who knows what might happen! Equally, I might feel down and need a friend, if your there, this could be your lucky day!

I think I have made this fairly clear, anyone who is still confused, please look up a definition of "Random" and then combine it with the definion of "Generosity" - That explains exactly what I am doing, but I will be doing this far more than I usually would on any other occasion. Why, you ask, I can't tell you, I don't know - I just feel like it! 2 weeks, we'll see what happens!

Exams 13th May 2009

Yes, indeed! Exams for me, AS level at the moment. That's really all I have to say on the matter, but for the sake of keeping my readers entertained, here is the break down - Psychology exam today, I thought it went quite well really, I kind of forgot all the names and dates of the psychologists and case studies - but i remembered how the experiments in the case studies were carried out, and in general, feel quite confident that I have at least passed - although, that was only unit 1 of 2, so who knows what will happen!

On a more interesting note, someone passed an email onto me today, NOT written by me, but indeed written by a guy, which I thought was... how can I put this... bang on? Anyway, if your interested to read it, here it is:

~

You might agree with it, but when it actually happens 99% of girls don't realize it 'til it is too late

The guy who did it is so frustrated that he has moved on to someone who will take notice.

From a guys point of view:

We don't care if you talk to other guys.

We don't care if you're friends with other guys.

But when you're sitting next to us, and some random guy walks into the room

and you jump up and tackle him without even introducing us, yeah, it pisses us off.

It doesn't help if you sit there and talk to him for ten minutes without even acknowledging the fact that we're still there.

We don't care if a guy calls you, but at 2 in the morning we do get a little concerned.

Nothing is that important at 2 a.m. that it can't wait till the morning.

Also, when we tell you you're pretty/beautiful/gorgeous/cute/ stunning, we freaking mean it.

Don't tell us we're wrong. We'll stop trying to convince you.

The sexiest thing about a girl is confidence.

Yeah, you can quote me.

Don't be mad when we hold the door open.

Take Advantage of the mood im in.

LET US PAY FOR YOU! DON'T 'FEEL BAD'

We enjoy doing it.

It's expected.

Smile and say 'thank you.'

Kiss us when no one's watching.

If you kiss us when you know somebody's looking, we'll be more impressed.

You don't have to get dressed up for us.

If we're going out with you in the first place, you don't have to feel the

need to wear the shortest skirt you have or put on every kind of makeup you own.

We like you for WHO you are and not WHAT you are.

Honestly, i think a girl looks more beautiful when she's just in her pj's.

Or my t-shirt and boxers, not all dolled up.

Don't take everything we say seriously.

Sarcasm is a beautiful thing.

See the beauty in it.

Don't get angry easily.

Stop using magazines/media as your bible.

Don't talk about how hott Morris Chesnutt, Brad Pitt, or Jesse McCartney is in front of us.

It's boring, and we don't care.

You have girlfriends for that.

Whatever happened to the word 'handsome'/'beautiful'.

I'd be utterly stunned by a girl who greeted me with 'Hey handsome!' instead of 'Hey baby/ stud/ cutie/ sexy' or whatever else you can think of.

On the other hand im not sayin i wouldn't like it either.

Girls: I cannot stress this enough:

IF YOU AREN'T BEING TREATED RIGHT BY A GUY, DON'T WAIT FOR HIM TO CHANGE.> DITCH HIS SORRY DISGRACE-TO-THE-MALE-POPULATION ASS, AND FIND SOMEONE WHO WILL TREAT YOU WITH UTTER RESPECT

Someone who will honor your morals.

Someone who will make you smile when you're at your lowest.

Someone who will care for you even when you make mistakes.

Someone who will love you, no matter how bad you make them feel.

Someone who will stop what theyre doing just to look you in the eyes....and say 'i love you' ..........AND ACTUALLY MEAN IT!

*****Give the nice guys a chance*****

Holding Hands:

Girls: If you want to hold his hand, gently bump into it a couple of times.

Guys: Grab it if it happens more than once.

Cuddling:

Girls: When you want to cuddle with him, tell him you're cold.

Guys: Automatically move closer to her.

Movies:

Girls: During a movie, if he puts his arm around you, tilt your head on his shoulder

Guys: Lift her chin up and kiss her.

Loving each other:

Guys : When she tells you she loves you, look deep into her eyes, give her a peck on the lips, and tell her you love her too... And mean it.

Laying below the stars:

Girls: When you're both laying under the stars, put your head on his chest and close your eyes as you listen to his steady heart beat

Strange Feelings 6th April 2009

I have been feeling rather strange today. I feel like something is missing but have no idea what. I don't feel bored, I have plenty to be getting on with, and I don't feel rushed because I have plenty of time to do it, but for some reason I just don't feel right. Still, with no reason to feel strange, I am ok - maybe i'm just tired.

Server News 4th April 2009

We have now moved Techtoad.co.uk (and all related services) to a new server. What does this mean for you? Nothing that you will need to worry about, we are now running on an improved, faster, more reliable server.

However, as we have chosen to use "Big Bang" implementation (changing everything all at once) there could be some problems. In the unlikely event that we have done something wrong - your website has gone, you can't log into email, something isn’t working properly, an email never came through  - Please do not hesitate to contact us so that we can resolve the problem.

Special thanks to Dug for all the help getting everything set up. We hope that this server transaction was a transparent operation. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Wednesday 1st April 2009

Today Jed and I were walking around town and we happened to pass the Spicer McColl agents again, the display screen was STILL showing automatic updates! (see previous news post).

We went into Maplin and found, yet another, stupid "Special Offer"  sign offering -16% off. You can view this here.

It's been quite a relaxing day really! Over the next few weeks, Dug and I will be making some changes to the server, so you may experience some problems with our services during this period.
